A Natick Youth Basketball travel team spent part of the week volunteering at a local food pantry as registration deadlines approach for the organization's fall programs.

TOWN -- Natick Recreation and Parks' online calendar lists two upcoming sessions of its "All Aboard Adaptive Cycling Program," set for Saturday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 17.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Natick Youth Basketball's seventh grade girls team volunteered at the Natick Service Council Food Pantry, helping sort donations, stock shelves and support local families, the organization said in a social media post. NYB also reminded families of approaching registration deadlines for its fall lineup. Pre-season skills clinics for grades 4-8 are running Sept. 13-30 at Kennedy Middle School, with registration for each session open until three days prior. Travel basketball tryouts for grades 4-8 are scheduled for Sept. 25-27 and Oct. 2-4; one NYB posting listed the travel registration deadline as Sept. 21, while a separate posting listed it as Sept. 27. Fall Hoopsters, for grades K-3, runs Saturdays Oct. 17 through Nov. 21 at Kennedy Middle School, with registration closing Oct. 15. Winter intramural basketball registration, for grades 1-8, closes Nov. 1.
