Select Board enters executive session after 15-minute open meeting
NATICK — December 17, 2025 — Natick Select Board adjourns brief open meeting into closed-door police union session. The Dec. 17 meeting, called to order at 6 p.m. by Chair Kathryn Coughlin, consisted of two announcements and one public comment before members voted unanimously by roll call to enter executive session to discuss a matter involving Local 496 of the Massachusetts Coalition of Police. Carol Ploth of Yes for Natick used public comment to announce a Jan. 8 forum titled "The Changing Face of Natick Center" focused on downtown development. The Friends of Natick Trails also previewed a free New Year's Eve lighting event running 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Cochituate Rail Trail between Mechanic Street and Route 30, with parking donated by the Natick Mall and Home Depot. The board did not return to open session.
