Select Board approves T Market alcohol licenses, advances Johnson School planning

NATICK — October 29, 2025 — Natick Select Board clears licenses for new Asian market at former Wegmans space. The board unanimously approved an S15 all-alcohol off-premises license, an S12 wine and malt beverages on-premises license, plus common victualler and non-live entertainment licenses for T Market, a grocery and restaurant concept targeting a May 2026 opening at the Natick Mall. Applicant representative Teresa Liao said staff will be trained to keep alcohol from moving between the grocery's dedicated retail checkout and the restaurant. Deputy Town Administrator Jamie Errickson presented a 19-slide Johnson School quarterly update summarizing an Oct. 7 workshop and a six-question survey drawing 146 open-ended responses, 42 of them opposing housing or land sales. The board also recognized four newly promoted firefighters, including Deputy Chief Kenneth Levy, and continued a Gatsby's Chophouse license hearing to Nov. 12, with Member Richard Sidney saying the board should "keep the pressure on them."
