Natick Sets October 20 Date for Fall Annual Town Meeting
NATICK — A Natick man was found guilty this week of illegally exporting U.S. export-controlled technology to Iran that prosecutors say was used in a fatal drone attack, while town officials opened a new survey seeking resident input on short-term uses for the former Johnson School property and set October 20 as the date for the Fall Annual Town Meeting.

Town staff launched an online survey Monday collecting resident feedback on potential "interim uses" for the former Johnson Elementary School site. According to the town's News Flash, the Johnson Future Use project "recently pivoted to focus on short-term interim uses at the former elementary school property," and the town posted a new Interim Use Matrix document laying out the options under review. Residents can submit input through a Google Form linked from the News Flash.
Separately, the town posted its formal Intent to Call notice for the Fall Annual Town Meeting, which will convene at 7:30 p.m. on October 20 at Kennedy Middle School.

The Natick Community Organic Farm hosts its Barn Dance Saturday, July 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., with live music, dancing, food, drinks and ice cream. Tickets are $15 per person; children five and under get in free.
