Natick's Main Street working group narrowly endorsed a Hybrid design concept for downtown improvements. The 15-member Main Street Improvement Project Working Group, led by Morgan Griffiths, voted 8-7 to recommend the Hybrid Concept to the Select Board for formal design development. Deputy Chief Brian Lauzon of Natick Police flagged concerns about narrowed lanes and added parking that could impede emergency response, while unresolved issues including delivery zones and snow removal coordination will be addressed during design.

The Select Board will choose between the Hybrid Concept, enhanced bike concept, limited bike concept, or mill-and-repave option.
