Vietnamese Restaurant Nears Opening In Downtown Natick

NATICK — A new Vietnamese restaurant is nearing its opening in downtown Natick, even as Town Hall works to fill three open volunteer seats on municipal boards and invites veterans in for a free portrait session this week.

TOWN HALL The Select Board is looking for residents to fill three open volunteer positions. Two vacancies remain on the Cultural Council, with applications due by Aug. 21, and one seat each is open on the Commission on Disability and the Economic Development Committee, with those applications due by Aug. 13.

Separately, the town is inviting Natick veterans to sit for a free professional portrait honoring their military service. Sessions are available at the Community Senior Center on two dates, Aug. 7 and Aug. 14.
