NATICK — Trails and Forest Stewardship Committee approves 2026 goals with Morse Pond addition. Chair Doug Drenik will revise a consolidated rules sign for the Oak Street Town Forest entrance, coordinating with the Department of Public Works and removing language deemed unwelcoming while adding prohibitions on camping and overnight parking; the same signage approach will apply to Bacon Street. The committee also unanimously approved its revised 2026 Goals and directed Drenik to finalize a thank-you email to trail stewards celebrating 2025 efforts.
Guests noted that a comprehensive trails budget request could fund mowing along Takewampbait Trail at Broad Hill and that the Pickerel Pond north-south bridge Notice of Intent remains under Conservation Commission review.
