TAC selects Doherty to represent committee on Main Street working group.

NATICK — The Natick Transportation Advisory Committee selected Chair Ed Doherty to fill a reserved seat on the Main Street Improvement Project working group reviewing the hybrid design concept. The Committee unanimously approved minutes from its January 13 meeting and received a Department of Public Works update on 2025 and 2026 roadway improvements, bridge work, rapid flashing beacons, and a new drainage master plan. Discussion of 2026 priorities centered on developing a bicycle and pedestrian plan, continuing engagement with the MWRTA, and creating resources for residents to learn about transportation options; Transportation and Economic Development Planner Morgan Griffiths will draft goals for final approval at the next meeting before presentation to the Select Board in mid-March.
The Committee also heard that a MassCEC feasibility study on on-street EV charging locations is complete and will be presented to the Net Zero Committee.
