Natick School Committee unanimously approved four district policies governing fundraising and student activities. The committee voted to update policies on games of chance and staff solicitations (GBEBC), student fundraising (JJE), relations with parent organizations (KBE), and service animals in schools (IMGA), with all five present members voting in favor. Superintendent Dr.
Melissa Spash recommended removing field trip sponsorship from the fiscal 2027 budget while avoiding athletic fee increases, but a motion to approve user fees minus field trip fees was withdrawn before a vote. The committee also approved the non-rep schedule for athletics unanimously and deferred the Lilja Accelerated Repair Project update.
