NATICK — Recreation and Parks Commission approves prior minutes and hears grant status. Community Services Director Angela Snell reported the $1.2 million ECO One Stop grant application for Grove Park and South Natick Multipurpose Area has been submitted, with a town match of $96,813 to be voted on at April town meeting and results expected in July or August. Deputy Director Lauren Meurer said camp recruitment is progressing well but two to three additional lifeguards are needed, and that $50,000 for a master plan update and $225,000 for South Natick Park improvements will be brought to the spring town meeting.
The commission requested more information on a Housing Authority proposal for veterans housing at Henry Wilson Park and Johnson School land before providing feedback.
