Plymouth officials offer hybrid Town Meeting playbook to Natick committee

Hybrid Town Meeting Committee · Meeting of February 5, 2026

NATICK — Plymouth hybrid Town Meeting draws 90 percent participation in single Saturday format. Town Moderator Steven Triffletti and Town Clerk Kelly McElreath told Natick's Hybrid Town Meeting Committee that Plymouth uses Options Technology's VVoter platform to merge remote voting with in-room electronic clickers, serves roughly 20 remote participants out of 162 Town Meeting Members, and conducts all business in one day beginning at 8 a.m. with extensive precinct preparation and an assistant moderator. The Natick committee voted unanimously to authorize Chair Frank Foss and member Josh Ostroff to develop a survey targeting only Town Meeting Members, rejecting broader public input as outside the committee's charge.

Future speakers include Options Technology representatives and town legal counsel.
