Planning Board · Meeting of March 11, 2026

Natick Planning Board approves day care facility at 19 Strathmore Road. The board voted unanimously 4-0 on March 11 to approve a Special Permit and Site Plan Review for applicants Max Mazaev and Anna Nikaeva to reuse an existing commercial building for an adult day care facility. Attorney George Richards addressed concerns regarding drainage, landscaping, exterior lighting, and relocation of refuse service to an adjacent property via paved pedestrian connection.

Amanda Loomis, Director of Community and Economic Development, raised concerns about recurring flooding at the Strathmore Road and Dean Road intersection during storms; the applicant confirmed multiple access points and higher elevations are available on site. The board required submission of an engineered sidewalk plan and dumpster location on adjacent Lot 17 as conditions of approval.
