Natick Transportation Advisory Committee unanimously backs hybrid Main Street design. All five members present — Chair Ed Doherty, Vice Chair Joanna Carey, and members Aarti Gandhi, Gil Yaker, and Matt Page — voted to support the redesign in a letter to the Select Board. Morgan Griffiths, the town's Transportation and Economic Development Planner, provided technical background: the hybrid design would net approximately two additional parking spaces, include traffic signal adjustments at Route 135 and Route 27, and be eligible for federal funding through the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization if it meets MassDOT standards.

The letter emphasizes improved safety, accessibility, and economic growth.
