Natick housing trust sets 2026 goal to divest Bacon Street property

Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board of Trustees · Meeting of January 24, 2026

NATICK — The Natick housing trust sets 2026 goal to divest Bacon Street property. The Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board of Trustees, an eight-member board led by Chair Ganesh Ramachandran, held its annual retreat to adopt strategic priorities for 2026, including sale of the 299/301 Bacon Street property to redirect capital toward affordable housing expansion. The Trust awaits Family Promise MetroWest's response to a seller-financed purchase offer; if that sale does not proceed, the board will pursue a market-rate sale.

The retreat included updates from five subcommittees on ongoing projects including Hartford Street development, the Housing for All program, Outreach initiatives, and Wilson Gardens, and the board committed to establishing a new five-year budget forecast and quarterly in-person meetings.
