Natick Housing Trust honors Select Board, advances multiple housing initiatives. The board unanimously awarded the Kibbey Award to the Select Board in recognition of their support for affordable housing projects, including the 5 Auburn Street development, which has now secured 1.2 million dollars in state historic tax credits and 850,000 dollars in federal funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston. The Trust also received updates on new tenancy at 299/301 Bacon Street and ongoing deed transfer negotiations for 246 North Main Street, while discussing a proposed Article 97 land swap for veteran housing development at Wilson Gardens.
