Economic Development Committee · Meeting of March 12, 2026

Natick Economic Development Committee unanimously approves comprehensive strategic vision for five commercial districts. Chair Paul Joseph and the committee voted 6-0-0 to accept the economic development vision, which they will present to the Select Board on April 15, 2026. The vision identifies five place-based priorities: Natick Center as a cultural destination; Route 9 and Golden Triangle for experiential and mixed-use development; West Natick for transit-oriented growth; the East Natick Industrial Park for light life sciences and technology; and South Natick for historic, cultural, and recreational development.

The committee also approved prior meeting minutes and discussed a proposed software vendor-screening working group, which members determined was not currently a priority.
