NATICK — Morse Institute Library Board approves public art project on front lawn. The trustees unanimously backed installation of "A Home for Our Future Generations" for May 2026 through August 2026, with presentation by Jillian Wilson-Martin, Town Director of Sustainability. Director Miki Wolfe reported completion of Connected and Online grant paperwork for Commonwealth-funded technology arriving February 10, ongoing elevator and HVAC facility work, and launch of a new Sensitive Subjects webpage with privacy protections.
President Kathleen Donovan noted a proposed 2 percent increase in Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners funding in Governor Healy's FY27 budget and Congressional spending bill increases for libraries.
