The subcommittee unanimously recommended approval of an Information Technology budget of $2.27 million, a 10 percent increase driven by higher LAN/WAN maintenance and Hosted applications costs. Also approved: Community and Economic Development at $1.23 million, plus budgets for the Select Board, Weights and Measures Department, and Committees and Commissions.
The IT budget growth reflects supplier cost increases and security compliance requirements.
