Hybrid Town Meeting Committee approves ungated survey of residents and staff.

Hybrid Town Meeting Committee · Meeting of February 25, 2026

Natick's Hybrid Town Meeting Committee voted 5-2 to launch an ungated public survey of residents, current and former Town Meeting members, and staff with Town Meeting duties. Josh Ostroff, committee clerk, presented the consolidated survey, which will branch respondents into three categories for easier promotion. Communications Director Jay Poropatich will manage outreach through email, social media, and town newsletters.

Committee member Saul Beaumont opposed the survey timing, arguing the committee had not finished its own report; the motion, moved by Frank Foss and seconded by Jaymin Patel, passed with Frank, Brinley Vickers, Grace Keeney, Jaymin Patel, and Josh voting yes.
