Historical Commission reorganizes, sets officer slate.

Historical Commission · Meeting of April 6, 2026

NATICK — The Natick Historical Commission unanimously elected Vincent Vittoria as Chair and Steve Evers as Vice Chair at its April 6 meeting. The seven-member body affirmed existing representative positions on town committees and tasked Evers and David Sobek with exploring a Town Meeting bylaw update to extend Article 76's demolition-delay window beyond six months in 19th-century neighborhoods. Amanda Beyer-Purvis agreed to contact the Massachusetts Historical Commission about grant funding for consultant engagement to expand the town's Inventory of Historical Assets.

Vittoria reported ongoing progress on installation of an "Iron Mike" fountain on the Common and Concert Hall feasibility study.
