NATICK — Council on Aging Housing Subcommittee readies senior housing action plan for board presentation. The three-member subcommittee, chaired by James Fitzgerald and meeting via Zoom on April 8, finalized points for the April 13 COA board meeting, including a $300,000 Community Preservation Act collaboration between MetroWest Family Promise, Natick Service Council, and the COA to help seniors and others avoid eviction. The subcommittee is producing a first annual senior housing assessment due for completion in June, will track a potential November state rent control ballot measure, and noted a new West Natick Train Station development project containing 219 apartments with at least 10 percent designated affordable.
