NATICK — Council on Aging housing subcommittee finalizes action plan for June presentation. The panel reviewed COA staff responses on senior housing assistance, including partnerships with Cedar Gardens, Sherwood Village, and the Natick Affordable Housing Trust, and agreed that next year's focus should center on helping seniors remain in their current Natick homes amid rising fuel costs. Jim Fitzgerald, subcommittee chair, directed members to investigate a potential state rent control proposal and to explore the Homeshare Program, where seniors share a single residence, as a future discussion topic.
