Council on Aging approves April minutes, hears staff updates on senior programs.

NATICK — Council on Aging approves April minutes and plans officer elections for June. The board heard from Director Donna Tarutz that the town budget, approved at Town Meeting in May, allocated an additional $7,000 to senior transportation and that trip subsidies remain at $10 per person. Tarutz outlined a summer calendar including fraud-prevention seminars with the Middlesex County Sheriff, a May 14 memoir-writing workshop, and a men's health seminar.
The Nominating Subcommittee advanced Sal Pandolfo for Chair, Jan Sewell as Vice Chair, and Jim Fitzgerald as Secretary, with final voting in June. A Dementia Friendly Community kickoff is set for June 23 at the senior center with weekly events throughout the summer.
