Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 19, 2026

Natick Conservation Commission discussed unpermitted wetland work at 4 Running Brook Circle, where property owner Edward Divino constructed a roman arch bridge and stone retaining wall to address erosion. Conservation Agent Claire Rundelli flagged concerns the bridge creates potential stream constriction and may not meet performance standards; member Michael Downey noted the work might shift erosion problems downstream. The Commission scheduled a March 21 site visit at 8:30 a.m. to assess the violation before determining after-the-fact permitting requirements.

In other business, the Commission heard an update from Community Organic Farm Executive Director Casey Townsend and reviewed draft comments on a multi-use redevelopment at 273 West Central Street.
