NATICK — The Conservation Commission issued a Negative 3 Determination of Applicability for site landscaping and hardscaping at 5 Lakewood Street, approving the work with conditions. The project replaces 1,200 square feet of asphalt with a 750-square-foot pervious patio, removes a shed for a hot tub, and adds native plantings near Lake Cochituate. The Commission required straw wattle erosion controls and potential native tree mitigation if the removed Alberta Spruce exceeds 6 caliper inches in diameter.
David Howe's motion to issue the determination passed unanimously. The Commission also voted to continue an ANRAD public hearing at 5 Glenwood Street to April 23.
