Removal of the spillway's concrete is now about 50 percent complete, according to the town's News Flash update. The contractor continues to use heavy equipment to break the concrete apart and haul it away from the site. The update includes video of the ongoing work and a rundown of which park areas remain closed while the project continues, guidance the town is encouraging residents to check before heading to the area.
