Natick Board of Health denies septic pump variance, approves restaurant food process. Chair Karla H. Sangrey and Clerk Donald J.
Breda voted unanimously to reject a request from 84 Farwell Street to reduce ejector pump requirements, citing Natick's 25-year dual-pump standard. The board also unanimously approved a variance for T-Market at 1245 Worcester Street to conduct an acidification process for rice. In a third action, the board tabled a proposal from Natick Above The Influence, a student organization at Natick High School, to raise tobacco retailer permit fees to fund a twice-yearly vape-disposal program estimated at $3,000 per event; Director Michael K.
Boudreau will study pricing benchmarks and propose a recommendation.
